Hannah Crosson
I create objects, drawings and paintings that explore how materials transmit absence across time and space.
Working with porcelain, locally foraged clay and handmade charcoal, I investigate how objects can record what is missing and collapse boundaries between past and present. My pieces invite intimate contemplation through touch - meant to be held, used, and lived with as vessels for memory and loss.
I am currently exploring collaborative approaches to creating personalised memorial vessels with individuals.
