Following the approach of Automatic Alchemy 1 & 2, this piece experiments with acrylic paint mixed with wild clay from the local area where Madge Gill was born. By incorporating these ancient particles, I hoped to tap further into the memory of Gill's approach, making a connection to the local land and exploring her intuitive, trance-like process.
